Those interested in understanding and involved in implementing, auditing, and maintaining an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS).
All attendees are required to bring their own copy of the ISO 42001:2023 standard.
Description
With this four-day, instructor-led course, you will be able to interpret the requirements of ISO 42001:2023 standard, manage the requirements of your AI systems, and role-play the team audit process with complete reporting. The course includes hands-on activities and workshops to prepare you for working in teams and leading audits. There is an exam for each competency unit (AI, AU and TL).

Course Objectives
- Define key AI terminology.
- Identify the core principles of AI Management Systems (AIMS).
- Interpret the requirements and intent of ISO 42001:2023 and how they apply to organizational contexts.
- Explain the importance and principles of responsible AI system development, deployment, and use.
- Demonstrate the implementation of AIMS planning, policy, objectives, and processes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of an organization’s AI risk assessment methodologies.
- Establish and align audit objectives for the AI audit program.
- Apply auditing principles, procedures, and methods as per ISO 19011:2018.
- Prepare a comprehensive audit report addressing all findings, non-conformities, and recommendations.
- Conduct follow-up activities to ensure the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions post-audit.
