Thailand: Mandatory Safety Requirements for Audio, Video and Similar Electronic Apparatus Approved
The Thai Ministry of Industry published the Ministerial Regulation B.E. 2564, 2021, on March 2, 2021. The corresponding regulation will be in force on August 29, 2021.
With this regulation, audio, video and similar electronic apparatus intended for household and similar general use have to comply with Thai Industrial Standard TIS 1195-2561 (2018). This standard defines the safety requirements of such products, which were approved in line with Announcement No. 5505 of December 27, 2019, made by the Ministry of Industry dated.
