Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) Certification

DEKRA is the only laboratory in North America accredited by the Open Charge Alliance to perform OCPP 1.6 certifications.

OCPP 1.6 certification includes interoperability and conformance testing to ensure proper functioning between the electrical vehicle charging station and the back-office. The certificate can be used by charging station and charging station management system (CSMS) vendors to show compliance with OCPP standards. This assures buyers that the charging station or CSMS will work seamlessly with other OCPP-compliance infrastructure.

DEKRA will soon be accredited to perform OCPP 2.0.1 certifications, as well.
