Atlanta, GA

Audi of America has selected DEKRA North America as the partner for the Audi Authorized Collision Repair (AACR) program. DEKRA will provide multi-level service for the AACR program beginning today.
The AACR program includes more than 200 repair facilities nationwide, each selected for its commitment to quality and safety. Technicians at approved facilities undergo specialized training and use Audi Genuine Parts, specialized tools, and approved procedures to ensure that every vehicle is returned to factory condition.
“The absolute focus of the Audi Authorized Collision Repair program is the customer,” said Mark Allen, Collisions Program Manager for Audi of America. “Throughout the collision repair process, we seek to not only meet the needs of our customers, but to delight them. Audi of America selected DEKRA as our partner because of our shared commitment to service excellence, quality, and safety.”
DEKRA will provide comprehensive collision program solutions for the AACR program, with focus on the areas of compliance, program management, and reporting. Using its proven procedures and extensive experience in auditing, DEKRA will validate and ensure ongoing compliance of approved facilities, as well as auditing new facilities to grow the AACR network. New data collection, analytics, and visualization methods will be introduced to improve reporting and insights. “DEKRA will give us a better understanding of how parts are used, repairs are completed, and, ultimately, how we can better serve our customers,” said Mark Allen.
As one of the world’s leading safety companies, DEKRA will also bring new tools and solutions to the partnership. DEKRA’s i2i technology will offer accurate, comprehensive audits and inspections. A parts management solution will be implemented to further develop the restricted parts program, and DEKRA iQC Live will provide an option for real-time, live monitoring throughout the repair process.
“Collaboration, transparency, and accountability are at the heart of our partnership with Audi of America,” said Christian Ruecker, General Manager of Automotive Services for DEKRA North America. “The AACR program is one of the best in the industry, and DEKRA will bring improved reporting, validation, and management support to further enhance the offering.”
