DEKRA Expands A2LA Accreditation to Support Latest Mexican RF Standards for Global Market Access

DEKRA Certification, Inc. has expanded its ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation under A2LA Certificate No. 2764.01 to include IFT-016-2024 and IFT-017-2023, the newest RF compliance standards required for product certification in Mexico. This expansion strengthens DEKRA’s international testing capabilities and provides manufacturers with a streamlined path to market access across North America, Europe, and Latin America.

Why This Matters

The addition of IFT-016-2024 and IFT-017-2023 enables DEKRA’s Sterling, VA laboratory to perform accredited RF testing required by Mexico’s telecommunications authority (CRT, formerly IFT). Combined with existing accreditations for IFT-008-2015 and NOM-208-SCFI-2016, DEKRA now offers comprehensive coverage for RF, EMC, and product safety testing up to 40 GHz—all within a single, integrated solution.
