DEKRA is expanding its cyber security service offering: The DEKRA specialists are now offering the IT monitoring system “Cyber SafeAlert” especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The system, which was developed by cyber security company RadarServices, continuously detects IT risks and reports anomalies, vulnerabilities and attacks promptly.

“Cyber SafeAlert” reliably identifies attacks, attack patterns and anomalies that IT security measures such as antivirus software and firewalls cannot recognize as a threat due to their pattern-based defense mechanisms. Following a review of the situation in the company that included a weak point and risk analysis, data collection hardware is installed and connected to the company network. Data that may indicate security risks is then collected from multiple sources within the network and also from external sources and analyzed automatically.
The user interface, known as the “cockpit,” provides the user with an overview of security issues and unauthorized network access in a timely manner. The system prioritizes the anomalies depending on the risk they present and suggests concrete solutions. Until now, this type of monitoring solution was used only in large-scale enterprises. Thanks to “Cyber SafeAlert,” IT monitoring is now also available especially for SMEs.
With “Cyber SafeAlert,” DEKRA is rounding off its portfolio of cyber security services with a special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. This portfolio expansion is not least the successful outcome of the intense discussions at leading IT security trade fair it-sa in Nuremberg, where DEKRA was represented with its own stand for the first time in October.
DEKRA offers holistic services for IT security and data protection, including IT security consultations and assessments, certification of IT security management systems and personnel certifications as well as training and product testing.
