What is Lean Six Sigma?

Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a combination of the Lean thinking and Six Sigma methodology. LSS was initially created to reduce defects and variation in processes using statistical analysis, while the Lean Method is focused on eliminating waste in order to maximize value.

Lean Six Sigma brings the two approaches together to create a continuous improvement process that identifies and solves problems, streamlines processes, and increases customer satisfaction.

Lean Foundations Training

Choose to take all five days together or take the three sections separately

Help your company remain competitive, innovative, and profitable by learning the basics of Lean methodology, including techniques, tools, problem-solving framework, PDCA, and A3. This curriculum is broken into three components (Lean 101, Lean Problem Solving, and Applied Lean) and designed for people new to Lean who want to improve process and outcomes.

Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training

This course is an introduction to Lean Six Sigma principles. LSS Yellow belt is suited to those beginning their Lean Six Sigma journey. This course follows the DMAIC methodology and teaches the tools necessary to participate on a project team.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training

This 2-week course prepares individuals to implement LSS principles, practices, and techniques. Green Belts can lead project teams and support larger projects as part of a Black Belt initiative. Certification examination offered through ASQ.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training

This 4-week course prepares professionals to lead project teams to achieve breakthrough business improvements. This training includes all Green Belt training and adds Black Belt level tools, as well as preparation for certification. Certification examination offered through ASQ.
