Lenovo certified to ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 by DEKRA

Effective today, Lenovo Group Ltd. is certified to the international standards ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) by DEKRA Certification, Inc. This involved expert audits of seven sites in six countries around the globe to demonstrate the effective implementation of Lenovo’s management systems in the areas of design, development, manufacturing, distribution, and sales of computer products and data center services.

The ISO 9001:2015 standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the role of top management, the process approach, and continual improvement. ISO 14001:2015 is the latest revision of the international environmental management standard that outlines requirements for establishing an environmental management policy and evaluating the environmental impacts of products or services. These standards provide guidance and tools for organizations that want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customers’ requirements, that quality is continually improved, and that they are mindful of the environmental impact of their processes.
