DEKRA continues expansion of its Cyber Security portfolio

DEKRA launches the state-of-the-art “IoT Security Assessment as a Service” based on GSMA Guidelines

DEKRA has been recognized by the GSMA as a security laboratory to offer the GSMA IoT Security Assessment as a Service, providing additional security capabilities to the whole IoT ecosystem. These services can support companies without the necessary resources or expertise to complete a security assessment and test their IoT solutions to ensure end-to-end security.

DEKRA assessments along with the GSMA IoT Security Assessment framework provide companies a flexible path that addresses the diversity of the IoT market and enables organizations to build more secure IoT devices and solutions.

“The GSMA’s IoT Security Guidelines and IoT Security Assessment address the most common cybersecurity and data privacy issues associated with IoT services and outlines a step-by-step process to securely launch solutions into the market,” commented Graham Trickey, Head of Internet of Things, Programme, GSMA. “An aligned and consistent approach to IoT security creates trusted, reliable services and enables the market to scale.”
