DEKRA is Preparing for Vehicle Inspections in Luxembourg
8. Dec 2017
The expert organization DEKRA is preparing to offer vehicle inspections in Luxembourg for the first time. On December 18, the first testing center will be officially inaugurated in the presence of Transportation Minister François Bausch. The date for the start of customer operations will be announced soon, once the final approvals have been obtained. In 2016, the government of Luxembourg reformed the market for periodic vehicle inspections. DEKRA, the global market leader with 26 million vehicle inspections a year, will be the first testing organization to enter the Luxembourg market since this reform.

We are delighted that all legal and technical requirements will soon be met so that we can offer vehicle inspections in Luxembourg.”
The first DEKRA testing center in Luxembourg will be located in the town of Bertrange, west of the capital. A state-of-the-art testing center has been set up on the site of Autocenter Goedert at the Bourmicht business park, in the direct vicinity of the A6 highway. “Here, our customers and employees will find an optimum environment for the inspection of cars and commercial vehicles,” said Thomas Reuter, Technical Manager of DEKRA Automotive S.à r.l..
