Arnhem, March 19 – Broadening its coverage of vehicle homologation services around the globe, international expert organization DEKRA was designated by the German Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) for the E1 approval of automotive lighting products on the pan-European market.
DEKRA has been a long-time player in the automotive testing market. The company has offered homologation services on the worldwide markets for many decades for vehicles and automotive components. For automotive lighting, customers could get their products UNECE or FMVSS approved with DEKRA for, among others, the US, Indian, Taiwanese, and European market.
Next to UNECE approvals in Ireland and the Netherlands, DEKRA now adds UNECE approval through the German KBA in its Netherlands automotive lighting testing laboratories.

The designation by KBA for lighting products allows DEKRA to offer an even more complete approval program to its customers. Depending on their preference, DEKRA’s customers can start multiple automotive lighting approval projects for markets around the world with just one testing player.
