DEKRA Automobil GmbH Restructures Management Board

The Management Board of DEKRA Automobil GmbH will be restructured with effect from June 1, 2018. Its Chairman, Dr. Gerd Neumann, is leaving the company upon reaching retirement age; the Supervisory Board has appointed Wolfgang Linsenmaier as his successor. His future colleagues on the Management Board will be Guido Kutschera (since 2013) and Jann Fehlauer (new). Johannes Vossebrecher is leaving the Management Board on May 1. He will assume the function of Regional Area Manager for Hesse and manager of the DEKRA branch in Frankfurt.

Within the new structure with three managing directors, the new Chairman, Wolfgang Linsenmaier, will focus primarily on strategy, finances, and IT. Market development, and with that the 75 branches, will then be part of Guido Kutschera’s area of responsibility. The new managing director, Jann Fehlauer, will be in charge of service development. Three division heads, responsible for the areas of testing (Christoph Nolte), expert appraisals (Bernd Grüninger) and industrial services (Dr. Clemens Mayr), will report to him as members of the management team.

“DEKRA Automobil GmbH is still the largest and most important division within the DEKRA Group. Our aim is to continue the success story of the past years in the future, too,” said DEKRA CEO Stefan Kölbl, who is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DEKRA Automobil GmbH. “We are convinced that with this new management structure, we have chosen the optimum strategic alignment for facing the challenges of the future.”

The Supervisory Board expressed thanks to the departing Chairman of the Management Board, Dr. Gerd Neumann, for his successful work. “Over the past twelve years, in which he served as a member and as Chairman of the Management Board, Dr. Neumann was instrumental in shaping the success of DEKRA Automobil GmbH. His departure constitutes a watershed, and we wish him all the best for this new chapter of his life,” said Stefan Kölbl.

Wolfgang Linsenmaier (52) has been the commercial managing director of DEKRA Automobil GmbH since the beginning of 2006. Previously, he had held several positions within the DEKRA Group since 1999, among them Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions / Participations department of former DEKRA AG.

About Guido Kutschera

Guido Kutschera (49) has been a Managing Director of DEKRA Automobil GmbH since 2013, with responsibility for the expert appraisals department. Before joining DEKRA, he worked in various capacities for Carglass / Belron Group and Solera Inc. / Audatex Holding.

About Jann Fehlauer

Jann Fehlauer (53) has been the division head of vehicle inspections at DEKRA Automobil GmbH since 2016. Previously, he was head of the DEKRA branch in Braunschweig. He began his career at DEKRA as a test engineer in 1994.
